Socorro Partners welcomes Stephen Wyss

New York, April 7, 2026 – Socorro Partners is pleased to announce that Stephen M. Wyss, based in New York, has joined the firm’s Advisory practice as a Managing Director.

Stephen brings more than two decades of audit and advisory experience, including significant work in M&A transactions across a range of industries, with a particular focus on the consumer sector. Over the course of his career, he has advised a diverse portfolio of public and private companies, from emerging growth businesses to large enterprises with revenues of up to $5 billion.

With deep accounting and industry expertise spanning direct-to-consumer, beauty and cosmetics, food & beverage, and e-commerce, Stephen has a proven track record of helping companies navigate complex financial and operational challenges. His experience includes advising on business combinations, IPOs, and private equity transactions; leading consumer industry practices and driving business transformation initiatives; providing technical accounting guidance across areas such as revenue recognition, complex equity structures, inventory costing, and consolidation; and developing industry-specific solutions, including direct-to-consumer optimization strategies, to address evolving client needs.

Prior to joining Socorro Partners, Stephen served as an Assurance Partner at both CohnReznick and BDO in New York. In these roles, he led strategic growth initiatives, developed industry-focused thought leadership, and mentored high-performing teams.

Stephen is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Baruch College.
