Socorro Partners accelerates global expansion with launch of LATAM practice and appointment of Nicolás Franco as CEO of LATAM & Spain

DAVOS, Switzerland — Socorro Partners, a fast-growing global consulting and advisory firm, today announced a major milestone in its international expansion with the launch of its LATAM Practice and the appointment of Nicolás Franco as CEO of LATAM & Spain for Socorro Partners.

The announcement was made during the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, marking the third consecutive year Socorro Partners has been represented at the Forum since the firm’s founding in early 2024. Franco joined CEO & Managing Partner Jesus Socorro in Davos for the announcement, underscoring the firm’s commitment to building a scaled, senior-led platform across Latin America and Spain.

Since its inception, Socorro Partners has grown at a remarkable pace, advising public, private, and pre-IPO companies on complex, high-impact matters across industries and geographies. In less than two years, the firm has established itself as a trusted advisor to organizations navigating transformation, transactions, and risk in an increasingly global and interconnected marketplace. The launch of the LATAM Practice represents the next phase of this evolution, anchored by regional leadership, deep market expertise, and seamless global connectivity.

The LATAM Practice will deliver a broad range of services, including domestic and cross-border M&A diligence and advisory; Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Anti–Money Laundering (AML) compliance solutions; internal audit; forensic services; digital transformation; enterprise and regulatory risk advisory; accounting advisory; and tax services.

Franco brings a distinguished background in professional services, with extensive experience leading complex multinational engagements across Latin America, Spain, and global markets.  

He brings more than 20 years of experience in leadership and advisory roles spanning risk management, BSA/AML, digital and organizational transformation, and regulatory compliance. He has held partner and senior executive positions at international firms across Latin America and the United States, with deep expertise in financial institutions, fintech, and other regulated sectors. He holds an MBA, is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), and is a recognized speaker and international thought leader in the region.

In his role, he will lead the firm’s regional strategy, client relationships, and continued expansion.
