Brandy will be joining Socorro Partners as a Director in its Advisory practice, effective January 2027. With a Big 4 and Fortune 500 background, Brandy brings more than 14 years of experience in SEC reporting, technical accounting, and SOX compliance.

Prior to joining Socorro Partners, Brandy served as Senior Director and Global Corporate Controller at Del Monte Corporation, where she oversaw SEC reporting, technical accounting, and SOX compliance, as well as the consolidation of legal entities across 80 countries. Prior to Del Monte, she led external reporting and technical accounting at Office Depot, where she also focused on accounting for M&A transactions. Brandy began her career at Ernst & Young, where she rose to audit manager. She audited and advised public companies and private equity-backed businesses.

Brandy’s technical accounting experience encompasses consolidation matters (including variable interest entities and joint ventures), foreign currency accounting, revenue recognition, lease accounting, stock-based compensation and other equity matters, business combinations, goodwill, derivatives, and hedge accounting.

A Florida-licensed CPA, Brandy holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from the University of Florida
